Birthday

So, I had another birthday on Friday, now I am 34.  My birthday was a little more special this year because I am a mommy.  I spent the whole day with Gabriella.  She jumped in her jumparoo and I played with her most of the day.  Read touch and feel books to her and played with her light up toys.  She is growing so fast.  She is going to be a tall little girl I am thinking.  She amazes me on how often she gets bored with her toys.  I think I have a little smarty.
I didn't do much for my birthday because I have been trying to get over this cold for over a week.  It is a bad one. Lots of sinus things... Headache, coughing, running nose, running eyes,  coughing up junk, body aches and just feeling overall miserable.   I know it will work its way out eventually, but it just isn't quick enough.  I have been rubbing vapor rub VICKS my feet, chest and back at night (yes, I smell delightful), popping cold pills, and also taking my families old cold remedy... GINGER, SUGAR, and HOT WATER.  works but, it doesn't last... and it tastes terrible, but luckily I can't taste a thing.  Lets just hope this week is better than last!

Visitors

These two Canadian Geese have taken residence in our pond.  I guess they are going to call it their summer home.  Hope they don't eat all the tadpoles that live in there.  I love hearing the frogs chirp at night, it is a very peaceful sound!

Bad Hair day!

My cats hair has been matted for a while now, and I decided to cut his fur for him, lets just say I better keep my day job.  I am sorry kitty.  Poor kitty :( 

 I was doing good until the blade protector fell off, and then it went right to skin.  No cuts, just really short~short hair in spots.

Had Rachel  Ann Photography come to my house last weekend and I had Gabriella's pictures taken.  Gabriella was a little tearful, but the pictures turned out amazing.  Thanks Rachael for your expertise with the camera, all the pictures look amazing :)   I have decided to share a few with my bloggers.  What do you think of my beautiful little girl?

Got Windex

These are a few of the many glass houses in the world.  I can not image having one, for I really enjoy my privacy.  Who knew people actually build glass houses.  All I have to say is "GOT WINDEX!"  You will need plenty of it to clean the windows on these homes.  Just amazing!!!  The one home has all glass including the furniture.  Just breath taking.  Looks like a crystal mansion.  But, I will stick to my log home, I like the northern look. Enjoy!

A little of this and a little of that!

I have been so busy trying to get everything done and raising my beautiful baby girl, I just haven't found time lately to blog.
Today, Gabriella is 5 months old. Where has the time gone?  I can not believe that it has been 5 months already.  Gabriella is almost starting to crawl already.  The Pediatrician said she is advanced for her age, lets just hope it stays that way.  I always tell everyone, I really don't care about book smarts... I would prefer common sense. Many people lack common sense, but that topic is for a whole different post.  We will work on book smarts.  She is wonderful.  I love Gabby.
This past weekend has been pretty busy, Gabriella got her 5 month pictures taken.  I will post pictures when I get them.  Gabreilla and I also went for many walks.  Started raking the lawn, its going to take a long time, if I do everything that I would like to get done.  It is unbelievable how nice it has been outside.  Let's just say AMAZING weather we are having for March.
I baked a loaf of bread this morning.  I love baking, I just cant find the time to do it.  I let the bread raise over night.  I can hardly wait to try it once it comes out of the oven.
With working, being a wife, trying to start a new business, and being a mommy I just can't seem to do everything.  Life is hectic but I am loving it!

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for my beautiful daughter, she lightens up my life.  She makes me so happy, I could not be more happy since you are in my life.  I love my sweet Gabriella Raye!
